Amendments to the Official IECC Guidelines are made at fairly regular intervals, and it is always the English version that is corrected first. Therefore the English version is the official version on which the Club is run, and any disputes settled.
Following a change in the guidelines, the other language translations offered below will be updated as soon as is possible, but delays may occur if a translator is not readily available.
To maintain the quality and accuracy of the various translations, it is also most helpful if another member who is also a native speaker of that language carries out a careful comparison with the English version, and reports on any discrepancies or ambiguities. We hope to translate the IECC Guidelines into as many different languages as possible.
For this important task, we need volunteers that can either translate the English guidelines into their mother-tongue or review current and future translations.
